smart shoe insole for clinical gait analysis
3D gait analysis system in labs captures body movement data, which are combined to calculate the various loads acting on the joints and muscles, and their corresponding movements. The computer, using advanced software, constructs a model of the patient’s musculo-skeletal system. The gait analysis team will then analyse the model and make recommendations about the appropriate therapy, surgery or other methods of treatment. The whole process takes time and may be affected by the environments. Insole X is a portable gait analysis system, designed for daily gait monitoring, with its inertial sensors and advanced algorithms, it can measured your foot movement data and generate gait analysis reports for clinical assessment.

gait analysis by smart insole
Gait analysis can provide
useful insight in gait abnormalities. Insole X-Portable gait analysis system can work in the detection of foot contact with the ground, identifying the heel and toe
contacts. This ground contact information for the right and left lower limbs is
the basis of two important gait parameters: the time between first heel strike
to toe off (stance time) and toe off to next heel strike (swing time), which can be accurately measured by Insole X for gait cycle
analysis.

In order to foster a more collaborative healthcare environment, it’s highly recommended to work with Insole X for gait performance data analysis. The wearer is able to save, email and print their data in order to get real time feedback with their care provider. Diabetics tend to develop peripheral neuropathy. We had better not wait until complications develop before anything is (or can be) done. Insole X is born out of trying to find a preventative (not reactionary) solution to this problem. The portable gait analysis system makes it easy to share with the patient real time foot data feedback.

smart insole for better stability
smart shoe insole |
Studies have found that peripheral neuropathy is a major risk factor
for falls. To help improve balance and walking mobility. Fall related injuries including hip fractures are more likely to
happen to people with peripheral neuropathy and high-risk occupations. Insole X can reduce fall risk and help control balance and stability with its
high-precision movement sensors and pressure sensors.
Loss of balance leading to falls is a growing problem. Peripheral
neuropathy presents symptoms such as numbness and tingling are often found in
the feet. This is the
result of peripheral nerve damage of the body. To those who suffer from
peripheral neuropathy, Insole X is able to maintain their posture when standing
or walking. The dynamic gait analysis system integrates fabric sense array to keep your balance and help you walk with greater stability.

smart insole for foot data analysis
Let’s take the guesswork out of gait
analysis together. Insole X consists of simple structured insoles and companion
software for foot data collection and analysis. Connecting with portable
devices and PCs, Insole X allows seamless gait and run metrics monitoring for
patients and athletes anywhere. Plantar pressure measurements are used today in
a variety of clinical situations by podiatrists. Insole X has applied advanced algorithms to simplify the portable gait analysis in ecological environment.

The runScribe has a small sensor that is
embedded on to the back of the shoe. It gives the user 3D real time feedback
when it comes to running. Unlike runScribe, Sennotech Insole X is a smart insole for daily gait monitoring, it is engineered to measure different gait parameters. All kinds of foot movement tracking technology have embraced the

Foot Pressure and Weight Distribution Measurement
Fewer than 2% of people are born with congenital foot abnormalities such as clubfoot, flat feet, pigeon toes (pes adductus), or toe deformities. The number of foot abnormalities that develop during childhood, however, is steadily increasing, and nearly 60% of all adults have some degree of foot problems.
Common consequences of foot deformities include pressure sores and unusual calluses on the soles and arches of the feet as well as the toes.
Stress-related pain results in limping, which over time can lead to knee and hip problems as well as back pain.
Many faulty foot postures can be treated by individually fitted orthopedic aids. Orthotics, orthopedic shoes, and braces can be used, depending on the range of symptoms. In serious cases, surgical intervention may be necessary. What is most important at any age is to take the necessary steps quickly, to prevent any worsening of the condition.
Following clinical examination, we use the medilogic® foot pressure measurement system to determine foot shape and pressure points. The medilogic foot pressure-measuring platform makes it easy and uncomplicated to record the static and dynamic pressure distribution underneath the foot.
Wireless data transmission provides an immediate representation of pressure distribution while measurement is taking place (Illustration above right).
The medilogic foot pressure measurement system contributes to a patient-oriented treatment plan that includes orthotics and other orthopedic appliances.
